I’m Amir, a 26 year old student living in St. John's, Canada. I'm currently studying full-time at the College of the North Atlantic in the Enterprise Web Development diploma program.

My focus is on building cloud-ready, modern web apps. I love creating clean code and learning new technologies to help businesses grow online.

⚡ Portfolio Website

A personal website (amirshah.me) built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Features include dark/light mode toggle and responsive design. Hosted on GitHub Pages as a central hub for showcasing my work.

🎮 Balloon Popper Game

A JavaScript-based mini game where users pop balloons for points. Includes smooth animations, dark mode, sound effects, and mobile responsiveness. Created to improve my DOM manipulation and event handling skills.

🐍 Python Sales Tracker (Academic Project)

Developed a sales tracking tool using Python and CSV files. Later upgraded the project to follow object-oriented principles and added data visualization using pandas and matplotlib.

🌐 Amazon E-commerce Analysis (Business Course Project)

Conducted an in-depth analysis of Amazon's use of e-commerce technologies. Evaluated its competitive strategies based on real-world frameworks and contributed significantly to research, writing, and final report design.

🛠️ Flask & Django Web Apps (Python Course)

Built a basic Flask app using Jinja templates, followed by a Django web app with multiple views and routing. These projects strengthened my understanding of Python web frameworks and dynamic content rendering.

🛍️ WordPress E-commerce Prototype (Team Project)

Designed and structured a multi-page e-commerce site using WordPress, including homepage, catalog, cart, search, and contact pages. Based on competitive analysis and focused on usability and layout design.

🧩 Database Design & SQL Implementation (Academic Project)

Created an ERD using Visio, normalized the schema, and translated it into a working SQL database. Wrote and tested queries for creating, updating, and retrieving data using real-world business scenarios.

🎥 Movie Database Web App (Academic Project)

A dynamic web app built using The Movie Database (TMDB) API. Displays popular movies with poster, title, release date, and rating. Users can click to view detailed movie information. Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
